Portrait study of a coffee picker. I'm a fan of coffee, sometimes I'm a little too enthusiastic about my daily consumption. When I lived in Ecuador I was able to buy my coffee directly from a grower in the village I lived in. He was always happy to show me and others who visited his small farm around and talk through the process of growing and producing coffee. undoubtedly it was the best coffee I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. I tried making coffee myself while I was in Ecuador, it took weeks for me to go through all the stages of production and then I burnt it at the last stage. Shame that. Acrylic on canvas 50cms x 40cms (20 ins x 16 ins approx.). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe.
