The great Nina, a fierce force to be reckoned with. She was a classical piano player of great skill, that should have been enough to take her to great fame and recognition but discriminated against she was denied the path that should have been open to her. She was asked if she could sing as well as play the piano and told that if she did there was work for her. The world should count itself lucky that she decided to give it a go, she wrote and performed so many great songs. I can't remember when I first heard her, it seems like I've always been a fan of her music. Acrylic on canvas 56cms x 56cms (22 inches x 22 inches). SOLD.
